  • AdCritique: Muslim tourists want to travel in halal confidence and style

    In our latest AdCritique, we look at a brand that is targeting the growing Muslim tourism market. In 2011, Muslims spent an estimated $126bn on travel and tourism. Muslim travelers are looking for the “halal” label on hotels, restaurants and even airlines when they travel. Fifty per cent of Muslim travellers would use halal-friendly facilities if they existed and 30 per cent would seek strict Sharia-compliant services. This month’s feature looks at the importance of halal reassurance, and building confidence in quality with the target group.
